To Those Who Don't Get It
“The Lord is my portion, says my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul that seeks Him.” Lamentations 3:24-25 I read a Facebook post this week, “I don’t get it.” The writer does not get why people are gathering to see the motorcade carrying the body of the most Reverend Billy Graham. Oh, I get it, but one has to experience it to “get it.” Lives were changed because hearts turned to God at the “Billy Graham Crusades.” One post on Facebook praised Billy Graham for what happened after his father was saved at a service in Charlotte. His father accepted Christ into his heart and became a faithful servant. He became a pastor with a heart for missions. He represented and encouraged many missionaries all over the world. His two sons became pastors. Now years later, he has grandchildren active in serving in their churches. ...
