If Anything, Hold to Your Faith

In this crazy world of ridiculous politics, discrimination, and hate, hold to your faith in Jesus, the Son of God.

Let’s take a look at Mark chapter 5 to see how two different individuals' faith helped them.

Jairus, a leader in the synagogue, came to Jesus asking Him to heal his daughter.  Immediately, Jesus follows Jairus to his house.  On the way to Jairus’ house, a woman touches Jesus’ garment believing that she would be healed.  Jesus felt the power leaving him and stopped to see who touched him and he said to the woman, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” (Mark 5:34)

Notice that Jesus called her daughter.   What a wonderful thing to be called by the son of God.   We are no different.  Each of us who believes is his sons and daughters.  Just have faith!

There was poor Jairus, anxious for Jesus to come to his house to heal his daughter.  On arriving, they are told that she is dead.  Jesus turns to Jairus and says, “Do not be afraid, only believe.” (Mark 5:36)

Only believe; all he needs is faith.  Faith, only faith, can get us through this life.  Reach out to touch the robe of Jesus in your prayers.  He is there, only believe.

Jesus takes the hand of Jairus’ daughter and says, “Little girl, I say to you arise.”  She did.

Brothers and sisters, arise to worship our Savoir.  Only believe, for Jesus is there waiting for you to believe and follow.   Your faith will lead you to salvation, peace, and love, and your faith will help you through this crazy world.
